The actor: This year not only marks the 20th anniversary of D.B. Woodside’s first TV appearance (Steven Bochco’s Murder One) but also finds him with a starring role on a prime-time series. Over the course of the past two decades, Woodside has popped up in films as diverse as Romeo Must Die and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, but if his face looks familiar, it’s probably due to his regular or recurring roles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Hellcats, Parenthood, Suits, and 24, not to mention a number of one-off appearances on other series.
