John Lennon was a man who loved a handful of things very deeply, like writing dark songs that directly contrasted the whimsical delight of Paul McCartney, imagining what things would be like if we had nothing to kill or die for (and no religion too), and, of course, round glasses. However, there is one thing he loved even more than round glasses: peace, and peace-related imagery. Yoko Ono certainly remembers this about him, so to celebrate what would’ve been her late husband’s 75th birthday, she has decided to assemble 6,000 to 10,000 people and form the world’s largest human peace sign in Central Park’s East Meadow.
