Newswire: Watch Cubs superfan Eddie Vedder sing at the World Series

Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is a huge fan of perpetual World Series non-participants the Chicago Cubs, having spent some of his formative years living in or near the city. Pearl Jam’s last three Chicago performances, in fact, have been at Wrigley Field, and Vedder brought out various players and sang his let’s-not-talk-too-much-about-it Cubs tribute song, “All The Way” at one of those shows just this summer. At last night’s World Series game between the Cubs and the Cleveland Baseball Team, Vedder sang “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch, an honor that he’s actually had before.
