Newswire: U2 reschedules canceled Paris concert and live HBO special

Earlier this month, the French government asked U2 to cancel a pair of concerts in Paris that were scheduled for a few days after the deadly terrorist attack that hit the city on November 13. The concerts were part of the band’s huge Innocence + Experience tour, and HBO was planning to film and broadcast one of them as part of a live concert special. Today, HBO has put out a press release announcing that the U2 shows in Paris have been rescheduled for December 6 and 7, with U2: Innocence + Experience Live In Paris set to air simultaneously with the December 7 concert.
