Newswire: The Logan’s Run remake will give it one more go before it gets too old

It’s been a while since there was any movement on the Logan’s Run remake, with the last word coming in 2013. Back then, we reported that BioShock creator Ken Levine had been hired to write the script, but—in a move befitting the guy behind BioShock Infinite and its endless delays—we haven’t heard anything about it since then. Now, The Hollywood Reporter says that Levine and his take on the project have quietly drifted into the ocean, and Warner Bros. has hired Simon Kinberg to write and produce instead. Kinberg will be putting together the “story and treatment,” but someone else will be brought in at a later date to write the actual script. (Wait by your phone, Levine!)
