Newswire: Sting to reopen Paris’ Bataclan with charity concert
Back in April, we reported that Pete Doherty would be the first musician to headline at Paris’ Bataclan concert hall since the deadly terrorist attack last year during an Eagles Of Death Metal show, but now CNN is reporting that the venue will be holding its official reopening prior to that show with special tribute performance from Sting. In a post on Sting’s website, he explains that all proceeds from the concert will go to Life For Paris and 13 Novembre: Fraternité Verité, two charities that raise money for the victims of the attack and their families. The concert will be held on November 12, and you can buy tickets at this link.
