Newswire: Spectre co-star Stephanie Sigman joins ABC’s American Crime

Since she’ll soon be appearing as one of the female leads in Spectre, Stephanie Sigman’s acting career is already enjoying a classic James Bond-boost, and according to Variety, she’s just been cast as a recurring character in the second season of ABC’s American Crime anthology series. Sigman (Miss Bala, The Bridge) will play Monica Ava, a school administrator “whose loyalties and values are put into conflict as she’s faced with systemic bias within the school system.” The plot of the next season will be about class issues between a town’s public and private high schools (and the systemic bias therein), and it will all revolve around a male student accusing one school’s championship basketball team of sexually assaulting him. In addition to first season stars like Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton, season two will also feature Hope Davis and Outkast’s André 3000 …
