Newswire: Rick And Morty gets a premiere date and a Simpsons couch gag

Adult Swim’s Rick And Morty—created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland—is a great show and a big hit. It’s so great and big, in fact, that we think it’s safe to assume that some people consider it their favorite cartoon show that’s currently on the air. It’s fitting, then, that Rick And Morty has teamed up with The Simpsons—some people’s favorite cartoon show from, oh, 10-15 years ago—to help promote its upcoming second season. To do this, The Simpsons has handed over control of the couch gag for this Sunday’s season finale to Rick And Morty, with the titular young boy and his mad scientist grandfather literally crashing into the Simpsons’ living room.
