Newswire: Netflix renews Master Of None
Aziz Ansari has announced that his Netflix series Master Of None has been renewed for a second season. Ansari made the announcement today on Twitter, adding that the series would be returning some time in 2017. (He previously told Variety that he needs some time to “refill his head” before production on a second season could start.)

The show stars Ansari as Dev, a thirtysomething actor navigating life and relationships in New York City. Ansari co-wrote and executive produces the show with former Parks And Recreation writer Alan Yang, with the two tapping high-profile dramedy stars like Humpday‘s Lynn Shelton, The End Of The Tour‘s James Ponsoldt, and Tim And Eric’s Eric Wareheim (who also co-stars) to direct.
