Newswire: Judd Apatow is producing Jemaine Clement’s new HBO series

A little less than a year ago, Flight Of The Conchords co-star Jemaine Clement revealed that he and HBO were once again working together, although not, as many fans hoped, on new episodes of the beloved musical comedy series. At the time, all Clement would reveal about the new series was that it was a four-episode comedy, and that he was developing it in association with his long-time collaborator and What We Do In The Shadows co-director, Taika Waititi.

A year later, Clement’s now willing to go a little further in regards to the new show, as per an interview published in The Sydney Morning Herald earlier today. The anthology series, which the New Zealand-born comedian describes as, “The Twilight Zone, but comedy,” still doesn’t have a title, but it does have a pretty big new name attached to it: comedy mastermind Judd Apatow, who’ll be adding …
