Newswire: Jeremy Piven’s Mr. Selfridge gets a fourth season
Mr. Selfridge—that British show your parents like, but not quite as much as Downton Abbey—is coming back for a fourth season, according to Deadline. Apparently not convinced that the upcoming Entourage movie will actually relaunch his American career, star Jeremy Piven will once again slip into the waistcoat of retail magnate Harry Gordon Selfridge, who brings his flamboyant American style to a London department store.
The show’s series regulars are all sticking around, with Sacha Dhawan (24: Live Another Day) set to join the cast as a “major new character.” Frequent scriptwriter Helen Raynor will handle head writer duties while Lindy Woodhead, who wrote the book that inspired the series, will stick around in her advisory role.
Season three of Mr. Selfridge is currently airing on ITV in the U.K. and will hit PBS at the end of this month. There’s no official word on …
