Newswire: Here’s a first listen to another new record from Thee Oh See’s John Dwyer

John Dwyer never sleeps. As the frontman of Thee Oh Sees, Dwyer puts out at least a couple of records a year and tours constantly. He’s also one of the co-founders of Castle Face Records. Still, he’s managed to find time to put together a new record from another of his projects, the synth-based Damaged Bug. Out June 1 on the aforementioned Castle Face, Cold Hot Plumbs is the follow-up to last year’s Hubba Hubba. Lush, psychedelic, and positively ghostly, Cold Hot Plumbs is both totally weird and insanely catchy.
