Newswire: Fox Sports exec Jamie Horowitz fired over sexual assault allegations
After the very public expulsions of Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly at Fox News, it looks like the entire 20th Century Fox organization is on high-alert for any suggestion of wrongdoing. Unsurprisingly, given how deeply rotten Fox News seems to be, a probe within Fox Sports has also uncovered multiple sexual harassment allegations, and now an executive seems to have been fired because of them. This comes from The Los Angeles Times, which reports that Fox Sports just fired Jamie Horowitz, its “controversial” head of sports programming, and unnamed sources have said that the network has interviewed several women—”including prominent on-air personalities”—about their treatment at Fox Sports.
The network hasn’t specifically said why it fired Horowitz, but in an email to staff, Fox Sports President Eric Shanks said the following:
