Newswire: Evan Peters wants a Quicksilver/Deadpool spinoff film

These days, there’s a lot of speculation about the best way to continue the X-Men franchise following the lumbering, stilted X-Men: Apocalypse. And since critics and fans seem to agree that Evan Peters as Quicksilver (who first stole the show in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past) was a highlight of Apocalypse, there’s now talk of that character getting his own spinoff film.

In an interview with The Wrap, Peters initially seemed less than enthused about that option, considering that his speedster set pieces in the X-Men films each took about a month and a half to film.
