Newswire: Crackle renews Snatch and SuperMansion, orders new 50 Cent-produced cop drama

Crackle made a host of announcements out of its upfront presentation this morning, heralding the continuation of a bunch of its series, a new project from 50 Cent, and an eclectic development slate. First up, the network has given Snatch, its Guy Ritchie adaptation starring Rupert Grint, a second season, and its animated comedy SuperMansion a third. High-tech drama StartUp‘s renewal was announced back in January, but now we know that the new episodes will premiere September 28 and will feature Hellboy himself Ron Perlman—now also a producer on the show—and Addison Timlin as a father-daughter pair.

But the biggest news out of the event was that the streaming service ordered ten hour-long episodes of a drama executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and created by former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy and Hawaii Five-O writer Joe Halpin. Called The Oath, the show will, according …
