Newswire: Chris Evans says it’ll take 9 months to film Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel is pretty good at drowning comic book fans in movies about their favorite heroes and antiheroes, such that the next five years of their lives are always planned out in advance. But it must be on another level entirely to be one of the actors involved in those movies. In a recent interview with Esquire, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, discussed his five-year plan as part of a press tour for the upcoming Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

According to Evans, Captain America: Civil War, the third film in the series, will begin filming “in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August.” As for Infinity War, the final movie in the Avengers series which will actually be two final movies, Evans says the plan is to start “fall or winter of 2016” and spend nine months shooting the two parts back to back.
