Newswire: 30 Rockefeller Plaza is now called the Comcast Building

In what would make for a hilarious episode of 30 Rock were the show still on the air, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, the building that houses NBC’s world headquarters, has been renamed. The building, affectionately nicknamed “30 Rock,” joins arenas everywhere in expressing its allegiance to its new corporate masters. But rather than proclaim its love for smoothies, razors, shitty pizza, or online bargain shopping, the building now touts a company name usually hissed through the clenched teeth of rage-filled consumers in their third hour on hold. Yep, they’re calling it the Comcast Building.

New signage was unveiled on the building last night, a change that was covered by company shill Lester Holt on the NBC Nightly News.
