Great Job, Internet!: OK Go decided to go the anti-gravity route this time around

Arguably much better known for their innovative music videos than for any of the songs they’ve recorded, the Chicago-born rock quartet OK Go apparently determined that they needed to slip the surly bonds of Earth for their latest clip. They’d already famously employed treadmills, Rube Goldberg-type devices, and even Muppets in their dauntless and, thus far, wildly successful quest for viral views. But 2016 requires a fresh, new approach, so OK Go have decided to bypass gravity altogether in the video for the high-energy “Upside Down & Inside Out.” Already anticipating viewer skepticism, the clip starts out with this stark message: “What you are about to see is real. We shot this in zero gravity, in an actual plane, in the sky. There are no wires or green screen.” Instead of those tricks, the free-floating antics on display here were made possible through Russia’s very real S7 …
