Great Job, Internet!: Nick Offerman harvests “ripe, juicy pizza” in a new Funny Or Die clip
To prove that school lunches are anything but healthy, The American Heart Association has teamed up with Parks And Recreation‘s Nick Offerman to create a parody aimed at pressuring Congress to reauthorize the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, which set school lunch nutrition standards aimed at fighting childhood obesity.
In this Funny Or Die video, Offerman takes us on tour of “his” farm where pizza, taquitos, and fish sticks grow on trees like apples, and sloppy Joes are harvested from the ground like potatoes after being carefully watered with cola. “If it’s on a plant, it’s good for you,” he says. “Who cares how it got there.”
