Great Job, Internet!: Migos gets a fairy tale twist with “Belle And Boujee”

When he accepted the Golden Globe for Best TV Comedy for Atlanta, Donald Glover declared Migos’ “Bad And Boujee” the “best song ever.” And it would seem even fairy tale princesses agree. Just in time for the release of the new live action movie, Nerdist gave “Bad And Boujee” a Beauty And The Beast makeover. Here it’s Belle who proudly declares her life is “Belle And Boujee” while she rocks a “YRP” (“young rich princess”) necklace. And with help from glamorous versions of Fifi, Mrs. Potts, Lumière, and “Lil Uzi Chip,” she revels in her life of nouveau riche luxury.

Without a doubt the best lyric in this parody is the opening, “Raindrop, drop top/ Chillin’ with a pot and teapot.” But there are also other gems like “Duckin’ on Gaston ‘cause he not hot” and an enthusiastic celebration of baguettes. And throughout actor and model Natasha Ward makes …
