Great Job, Internet!: Bernie Sanders gets the Curb Your Enthusiasm treatment

Over the weekend, Black Lives Matter activists interrupted Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders at a town hall meeting. While Sanders has a long record of being active in the civil rights movement of the ’60s—he was present at the march on Washington in 1963 and he was an organizer for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee—the activists who interrupted the candidate believe that “progressives have kept economic issues at the center of progressivism and issues that affect mostly nonwhites at the margins.”

The befuddled Sanders—who ended up not finishing his speech—struck a chord with someone over at Death And Taxes who edited the clip to include the theme from HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. The frustrated older white guy walking to side of the stage as the music plays is perfect; you can practically hear Sanders whining about something inconsequential.
