Great Job, Internet!: Behold, the Star Wars equivalent of Paul’s Boutique

DJ Food, an electronic music project created by Strictly Kev, has culled together a big ol’ love letter to that galaxy far, far, away.

“The Tracks Go Off In This Direction” is not only a musical mix, but a visual one, and is sure to be enjoyed by Rebels, Imperial officers, and smugglers alike. On the aural end of things, DJ Food samples from several well-known sources, such as Meco’s Star Wars And Other Galactic Funk and Richard Cheese’s Imperial March, as well as more obscure and rare cuts as Ska Wars—released in 1977 by the late Rico Rodriguez of The Specials—as well as Dickie Goodman’s Star Warts 45. You needn’t worry; Figrin D’an And The Modal Nodes are featured prominently and Bill Murray’s Nick Ocean makes an appearance.
