A.V. Undercover: Wild Throne covers Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson

Wild Throne is from the totally non-metal college town of Bellingham, Washington—original home of Death Cab For Cutie—but that hasn’t stopped the trio from combining crushing guitars with math-rock-esque time signatures. Here, they tackle the decidedly non-metal Paul McCartney/Michael Jackson duet, “Say Say Say,” which was a worldwide hit in 1983 for the duo, and a follow-up to “The Girl Is Mine.” Wild Throne’s debut full-length, Harvest Of Darkness, will be out in early October.
